|
|
On my new TT the built in warnings for speed cameras is set to warn on a time parameter (default 15s), therefore, it takes into account any variation in approach speed at each camera.
If I disable the internal cameras and load the camera downloads from PGPSW I can only set a distance, I can of course set a different distance to each camera speed.
Is there any way with TT's version 8 software to get the best of both?

No, there isn't...
But have you seen the time/distance chart we recommend here?
There's a pretty version of it somewhere, but the figures are also in THIS post.
A good "rule of thumb" which gives around 15 seconds warning at the legal limit is "ten yards for every MPH" so 300 yards for a 30MPH camera, 400yds for a 40MPH one etc.
Double that for mobiles.... |
