Hi everyone; I am new to this forum. I wonder if anyone could help me please with an issue I have with a Mio Navman 685 I recently bought. When I switch it on, it starts to load up (see photo1) but then just displays a computer screen/usb cable image (photo2). Anyone got any ideas? Does it need a full software upload and if so, where could I get a free upload from please? Any help would be VERY much appreciated. I have tried the Mio website but can't see any free uploads, just ones you pay for? Thank you ever so much, regards, Neil. Sorry, can't seem to get the photos uploaded? When I press the Img* tab it just puts that into the message not an option to upload?[/img]

The 685 comes with MioMore Desktop software (on Disc) for PCs - install this, and then connect your Mio to your Computer using a standard USB to Mini USB Connector
From within the software you can choose to reinstall the software to the unit - incase as perhaps in your case, the unit has some damaged files as isn't operating properly
The UK version of their software isn't available as a download from Mio - only bundled with their units
Replacement copies from their website for, I believe around £15ish
Hope this helps _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Many thanks for the reply; I only have the sat nav and case, no software I am afraid. Is there anywhere I can get this from at a modest cost please? Thank you.
